“Do you think you could have cut that any closer?” Margaret asked.
Aldric smiled and shrugged his shoulders. “Possibly,” he said, “but that would have been reckless don’t you think?” He laughed and turned to the other man in the room. “Evan, you weren’t worried were you?”
Evan sat half-hidden by his desk. The shimmer of sweat covered his balding head and his eyes were wide open. "Worried is an understatement, Aldric. I think I pissed myself." Evan stood and walked around the desk and said, "I think it is time to add one of us to the lock so that we can avoid this sort of thing."
