About Me

WellIts been almost a year since I started this blog and I thought it was about time I put a little more time and effort into this whole page that is supposed to tell you about who I am.  Man, has there ever been a more personal philosophical question?   I can tell you that I am a husband, a father, an IT Professional, a liberal, a gamer and an all around geek. I am also a writer and an aspiring author (I've had one minor piece published for no gain and I've submitted others). I've got a couple of ongoing projects that I post here along with some other observations that I spit out along the way. Hopefully you'll find whatever I write either entertaining or thought provoking at the least, but there will be times that the writing is more for me than anything else and you'll just have to accept some of that in the mix.

    Is there something subconsciously dissatisfying about being an IT professional? I'm finding more and more writers with IT day jobs. I'm one of them. Although I love my day job... consciously, at least.

    I guess there are worse habits. If we IT people were all alcoholics, that would be a little more telling.

      I tend to think that the IT is a natural fit for writers since as IT proffesionals we have a certain amount of structure we have to adhere to, but ultimately we're just making things up as we go.
