So I have a new deadline for Apocalypse Rising's sequel and I've made some progress as of late, so I thought I would share a little snippet from the work in progress. So here you have it, and let me know what you think.

Sometimes You Have To Change Your Priorities
If you have been following this blog at all for the last year or so, you know that until recently I have been a pretty consistent blogger, with my daily 100 posts being the primary staple until this summer. My consistency was thrown for a loop back in January when we found out that my wife was pregnant. I was able to keep up with my writing for most of the year, but eventually my husband/father duties, along with my second and third jobs, put a limit on how much time I had to write.

100-Word Challenge: THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Wow. I started on this little project a year ago, and 365 posts later I can say that this had been a very rewarding project. I started out doing this as a side project to keep me from being overwhelmed by my main writing project, Alone, but in the last three months it has taken on a life of its own and it has dominated my other projects completely. In the last month I have been writing more than my 100 or so words and I am rapidly approaching the fifty-thousand word mark. Continue reading
