The Reason I will Get Out of Bed This Summer

Okay, I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything but writing or a writing update, but this morning I woke up to find an alert on my phone. Was it an emergency? No. Did war break out? No. More terrorists? No.  All of these things would have been enough to warrant an alert, but this was something good and it has helped me start off my day on the right foot.

Another Monday Has Come

I’m not going to talk about the Arizona Cardinals today.  Not going to do it. Nope. Too damn pissed to go into why they lost against the abismal Vikings or how I couldn’t even listen to the fourth quarter after a while. Gah. On to other things, there is soccer (or football for you European types).

Lesson Learned

For the last month or so I have been editing and re-writing a story I had written last month. I wrote it with the intention of submitting it for publication.  Tonight I finished my last re-write. I went to the publication’s website to review the submission requirements once more. It turns out it was a very good thing I did.
