Sauron in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Ring...

I’ll be damned if I do.  I’m so far behind on my writing and my editing. NaNoWriMo is looming close and I feel like I can’t stitch two coherent thoughts together.  For that matter I seem to have trouble coming up with one coherent thought.  I spent some time tonight wotrking on my Inspiration Monday piece and it’s coming along well, but I feel hollow.  I’m enjoying the writing, but I feel like I should be editing instead. I’m so tired and I feel spread thin…I love the line from the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (I honestly can’t remember if the same line was used in the book), where Bilbo says he feels like he’s spead thin, like too little butter spread over toast (okay, not sure if the quote is exact. I’m tired. Kiss my ass.). I feel that way more and more as of late. Soccer season is weeks away from being finished, but it will be replaced by Cub Scouts. Thankfully that will only be one night a week instead of four. At any rate, I must turn off the new Mastadon album, which kicks a lot off ass I must say, and head to bed.  See you all later.

I don’t know how you do it Eric. You are spread a little thin. Maybe you should just focus on one writing thing for a bit. Like I used to do before you talked me into going all haphazard with everything! 8)

What, and abandon you on the slow road to madness? Nah, there will be plenty of time to slow down once they put me in the padded cell. Next month there will be singular focus with NaNoWriMo, but even that will be a monster of an undertaking.
