So another Monday comes around and I am left weeping at what might have been. My Arizona Cardinals managed to find a way to lose once again, and this time against the hated, and unusually pathetic, Seattle Seahawks. I know that any time you play against a rival on their home turf there is a chance that you may lose, but I couldn’t imagine the Cardinals not winning this one. While I can’t put the blame squarely on anyone’s shoulders I can’t help but look at the two field goals the normally reliable Jay Feely missed. I’m not saying it has anything to do with his being a conservative, but did the ball miss just a bit to the right?*
Otherwise the weekend was loaded with cleaning and cooking and not much writing. Ever since I finished the first draft of Alone I have struggled to put words to paper and the editing process has been dreadful for me. I’m working on it, but I need to find some motivation. I will work through all of this, but damn its hard.
On a somewhat different note, please check out the awesome post by AJ Beamish on my social commentary/political blog. It’s important to learn something new every day. Make THIS your thing.
Take care and I hope you have a great week!

Thanks for the shout out, Eric. Day 9 and still no coverage of this event. The fact that someone is having the media black out this event is quite scary. Like, Orwell 1984 scary. I grew up somewhat irrationally afraid of nuclear war and communists. Now I’m rationally afraid of my own government.
