On the last day of my trip to Tybee Island, my wife and I decided to head to the beach to catch the sunrise. Although it was the end of November it was warm enough that a sweatshirt was all the protection we needed. We sat in a bench swing and watched early morning beach goers, birds, dolphins and the sunrise. It was a beautiful way to cap the visit.

Here are some of my favorites from that morning.

All of the pictures were taken from the same location near the Tybee Island Pier on November 26, 2011. When we go next year I plan on having a better camera with some nice telephoto lenses so that I’m less dependent on the digital zoom of my existing camera, but I have to say I’m not too disappointed in the shots I got.
